Art Deco House Style.

Art Deco gets its name from the 1925 French Expostition Internationale des Arts Decroatifs et Industriels Modernes, which featured a new style of decoration. Hollywood movies of the early 1930s popularized the style in the United States. The style evolved into Art Moderne with the addition of curves, glass blocks, and a boat-like look.

This home features the typical Art Deco stepped flat roof. It also has masonry construction and metal window frames. I love the simple lines and ornamentation.
